Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I ordered the $13.49 Specialty Wings entrée and simply asked to substitute the rice for plain noodles. I was more than willing to pay a reasonable upcharge for the substitution. Instead, I was told—rather dismissively—that I would have to order each item separately. That would mean paying $13.49 for the wings plus $7.99 for plain noodles, bringing the total to over $20 for essentially the same meal. I also questioned the wording regarding what was “included,” only to be told, “Yes, EXCEPT the specialty wings.” The explanation was unclear and did little to justify such a significant price difference. I understand that restaurants have substitution policies, and I had no issue paying an additional charge. However, expecting a customer to pay substantially more simply to replace rice with plain noodles seems unreasonable. More importantly, the manner in which the situation was handled was unnecessarily dismissive. Unfortunately, both the pricing policy and the customer service left a poor impression, and I do not plan to return.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant since it opened a couple decades ago and it’s probably my all time favorite fast hibachi style restaurant! My favorite thing to order here is their noodles with any combination of protein and I add zucchini/onions. Would highly recommend! They’ve always been quick and friendly. Thank you Toyama for years of nostalgic eats!

My go to hibachi restaurant. I've been going here for 10+ years and the consistency is on point. My go to is the hibachi steak, fried rice with only carrots. Great affordable meal.

I used to be get food from here on the regular, however, I live far from it now. I was in the area and got to go. Food was great. I got the teriyaki steak with broccoli, rice and carrots. I loved it. However I was disappointed with the amount of food. I paid $15 for a plate but it was not a lot of food.

I grew up on this spot but I will not be back. This is what I received for my Hibachi Steak.. it isn't seasoned, doesn't have the Zucchini/broccoli... and is cold. This is a SHAME! this plate was $15 and I wouldn't have paid a dime had I known what I was getting. I got there 30 mins before close, not 5 or 10. And they had prepped veggies on the counter so I was under the impression that they wouldn't mind my order. Save your money!!! It doesn't matter that this place was nostalgic for me, I will never be back and I will spread the word
